Working closely with Spike and the Bellator teams, I designed the logo for the rebrand after Spike acquired the franchise.
The redesigned logo was inspired by the round ring, which separates Bellator from other Mixed Martial Arts brands. The red band is reminiscent of the red helmet decoration from the original logo and the powerful circular movements of the fighters in the ring.
The new brand launched nationwide under the Spike Sports umbrella and the new logotype was used Nationwide and later internationally.
